Convergence of Interests: Various Stakeholders Helping Consumers with Tools to Improve Their Health - Day One Post 5

On Tuesday, I attended this session under the "Innovations in Consumer-Driven Healthcare" track led by Ann Mond Johnson. There are two kinds of futurists: those who are "authors" who are trying to sell a limited run of hardbacks to fulfill their "one day on Oprah's bookclub" fantasies, and those who really get it. Ann was uberhep, authentic, and entertaining as she talked about the explosive combination of vapid and vain boomers and the consumer directed healthcare momentum which is really just beginning to take off. She provided several online tools which exemplify this trend.
